2008 LIFE Fest 2008Vendor Information and Guidelines

Learning is For Everyone (LIFE), Inc. is a not-for-profit education resource organization supporting family choice in learning via broad based information resources, networking and support.  Each year we hold a “festival of learning” bringing together a variety of community based learning resources to help introduce the general public to the wealth of local learning opportunities available in our communities

This year's event will be held in September, on the beautiful campus of Eckerd College in St. Petersburg,  and it promises to be our biggest and best celebration yet.   The event is designed to have something for everyone,  from our youngest guests to teens to lifelong learners of all ages.

The 2008 event will feature education themed vendors, workshops and presentations. It will be a low cost event for guests, ranging in price from $5 to $10,  and will include:

  • *Speakers from the FL Dept. of Education,
  • *Community leaders,
  • *Educators,
  • *Representatives from various agencies such as the
    • extension service,
    • libraries,
    • museums,
    • nature preserves
    • zoos
    • parks & recreation depts..
  • *Authors
  • *Workshops on learning & teaching
  • And free materials from a variety of organizations and agencies from around the country, including the federal Dept. of Education, National Geographic Society, NASA, NOAA,  National Science Foundation, and much, much more.
  •

LIFE Inc. will drive traffic to this event, and broaden media exposure for venue, vendors and other supporters by:

  • *Distributing  public service announcements  to all the major newspapers, news channels (and their affiliated websites), cable, and radio stations  for "community calendar."  placement and PSA visibility.
  • *Distributing  PR announcements to the editorial teams of the same media sources announcing the event,  speakers,  programs and community participants .
  • *Distributing ecards announcing the event. This communiqué will mail to all the LIFE email lists  and  as well as to other area agencies and groups that would be targeted as potentially interested in the event.
  • *We  will  also connect with the Hillsborough/Pinellas /Pasco  County School Systems to invite area educators. Additionally, private and home schools will be made aware of and invited to this event.

This is a great event to see things, and to be seen. All vendor spaces cost $100 and will be sold on a first-come, first-served, paid-in-full basis.  A sliding scale may be considered for very small, family based businesses.  If you would like a booth at LIFE Fest 2008, please email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it  for payment instructions.
