Learning Is For Everyone! - LIFE Fest 2008 - Our Annual Celebration of Learning!

Help Us Plan the Party and be entered in the Planners Drawing
at LIFE Fest 2008!

Plans are in the works for our annual LIFE Fest Celebration of Learning. LIFE Fest 2008 will be held in the fall. We're looking at two locations and we'll let you know what the final choice is soon. In the meantime though, you can help us make this year's LIFE Fest the best ever by having a hand in planning it.

What would you like it to feature?

In the past , we've given out tons of free materials from a variety of sources, held workshops on teaching algebra, on geocaching, teaching history through literature, film screenings, book signings by children's book authors, booths by community resources like Camp Fire, 4H, Scouts, homeschool support groups, museums and zoos and more. This year, we're inviting our guests to help plan the party.

What would you find helpful and worth coming out to see?

What youth programs would be fun? We always have a kids area, with a youth achievement section highlighting artwork and science projects -- we'd love to expand that this year.

We want to keep the event affordable (no more than $10 per family, ideally) and family friendly, and we want to be able to provide what you'll enjoy and benefit from. So take this opportunity to Build Your Own Convention!

We'll publish full LIFE Fest 2008 details this summer, so start sending in those ideas now. We probably won't be able to use all your suggestions, but we promise we'll consider everything you send us and do our best to create a LIFE Fest event that inspires and informs!
