Page 1 of 2 Our speakers bureau is composed of board members and volunteers who are interested in sharing their knowledge and expertise with various organizations.
Who can request speakers?
Professional, community and civic organizations as well as schools are welcome to request a speaker.
How much lead time is needed to book a speaker?
You should submit your request at least four months in advance of the event date.
Are there any costs involved?
The requesting organization pays for any necessary air and ground transportation, meals and lodging. There is also a negotiable honorarium that varies by speaker and type of event. Half of speakers' fees support Learning is for Everyone, and half compensate our speakers for their time.
What's your Speakers Bureau Agreement look like?
"Learning is for Everyone (LIFE, Inc.) is pleased to offer the Speakers Bureau to our learning community at large. We will provide a professional, informative experience for your group, and ask, in return, that you acknowledge Learning is for Everyone in your publicity and introduction of the speaker, reimburse the speaker for any travel expenses, and remit to Learning is for Everyone in a timely manner agreed upon costs. We will contact you as soon as possible if we learn of any problems with the speaking engagement and ask that you do the same. We also ask that you complete and return the evaluation form sent after an event. Learning is for Everyone does not necessarily share all the views and opinions expressed by presenters."
