Center for Autism and Related Disabilites  

We serve Florida families and professionals within the following counties:

Charlotte, Collier, Desoto, Glades, Hardee, Hendry, Highlands, Hillsborough, Lee, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, and Sarasota. The Center for Autism and Related Disabilities at the University of South Florida is a community-based project that provides information and consultation to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders and related disabilities. Children's Week - One Voice for Children  
Over the past 14 years, the only broad-based promotion of children and family issues in Florida has been Children's Week. A true grassroots event since its inception, Children’s Week is supported by over 80 different non-profit, corporate, philanthropic, faith based, state agencies and organizations. Children’s Week develops and implements over 200 community events and activities statewide, bringing thousands of parents, children, policy makers, professionals, community leaders and concerned citizens together to share valuable knowledge and information about children's issues in each community across the state and at the State Capitol. http://www.childrensweek.org
FL Dept. of Education Bureau of School Improvement

Florida Office of Open Government  
The Office of Open Government is charged with providing the Office of the Governor and each of the executive agencies under my purview with the guidance and tools to serve Florida with integrity and transparency.

"To that end, the Office's primary functions will be: (1) to assure full and expeditious compliance with Florida's open government and public records laws, and (2) to provide training to all executive agencies under my purview on transparency and accountability. The Office will also have primary responsibility for ensuring that the Office of the Governor complies with public records requests in an expeditious manner.

"Each agency secretary is further directed to designate a person at his or her agency who will act as the agency's public records/open government contact person. That individual will be responsible for complying with public records/open government requests and compliance at their respective agency and will also be the primary liaison between that agency and the Office of Open Government for purposes of training and compliance http://www.flgov.com/og_home

State Library and Archives of Florida  

The Legislative Library Service is located within the Florida Department of State's Division of Library and Information Services. The Division provides direct library services to state government; develops library services statewide; and provides archival and records management services, technical assistance, education, financial aid, and cooperative services. Within this framework, the Legislative Library Service provides priority information and research services to the members and staff of the Florida Legislature. Sunshine State Standards (current)  
The Sunshine State Standards are currently under revision by the State Board of Education to review and adopt World Class Education Standards that prepare Florida’s students to effectively engage, communicate, and compete globally with students around the world.
